Happy Holi from Wiggins class

Today we learnt about the Hindu festival Holi, we found out it marks  the start of the Spring season. Hindus celebrate by spending time with their families, eating delicious foods, dancing and enjoying a special event where they throw colourful paint over each other! We had our own celebration where we painted our faces and threw paint over the grass, believe it or not it was just meant to be the grass, everyone wanted to be involved! Back in the classroom after being cleaned up we danced along to the Bhangra music with the children in the video.
