Year 5 Dyson – Forces

This term in science we are learning about forces. Today we learnt all about friction; generating ideas of when friction is useful and when it is not. We also tested the friction of some of our shoes, using a 1kg weight and a Newton meter to measure the force needed to pull the shoes across the table. It turns out that our school shoes have good grip!
