Robinson Class

What a great first week back we have had in Robinson class.

In English, we are learning to write a recount. We have begun to learn the key tools needed in a recount and have used some of the tools to write introductions and choose key information from our memories.

In Maths, we have been learning about regular and irregular 2d shapes. We have been using different resources to create 2d shapes and thinking carefully about their properties using the terminology sides and vertices.

In RE, we have begun learning about Hinduism. The children listened carefully to new information and then came up with questions they would like answering about the faith.

In Science, we have begun to learn about sound. We discussed how sound is created through vibrations and went on a sound walk to see what we could hear and how the sound was formed.

Instead of visiting the school library we went to the outdoor classroom. We enjoyed sharing books with our peers and then reading a class book on the grass.

At playtime we have been enjoying using the bikes. We are working hard on turn taking, sharing and playing alongside one another.
