Welcome to Year 3 Rowling Class

Wow! Yesterday, we had a fantastic first day in year 3. The children quickly settled back into their routines and began learning straight away. There was huge excitement for the allocation of lockers which I know lots of children had been eagerly anticipating over the summer holidays. Throughout the day, we reminded the children of our routines for Kinetic Letters, lining up, moving around the classroom etc and the children responded brilliantly. We started our new Talk for Writing Unit about Dragons and created a brilliant class poem using some high level vocabulary. We recapped our knowledge of place value in maths and became familiar with some of our wider curriculum subjects too.

Still to come this week… our FIRST French lesson and lots more.
